I always schedule a FREE introductory meeting with you and your pet so we can get acquainted, obtain detailed information on your pet’s care, sign a service contract and make arrangements for a house key. The introductory visit takes about 30 minutes and I ask you a million questions regarding your pet’s care and health as well as questions regarding your home’s care.  

If you wish to use Animalia Pet Care again, usually all that’s required is a phone call to make reservations, update your pet’s care and make arrangements for the house key. 

In addition to caring for your pet, I also make sure your home is secure and appears occupied while you are away. I collect mail and papers, rotate lighting, take your refuse to the curb on garbage day and water your potted plants. 

I guarantee Animalia Pet Care will maintain the confidentiality of your absence and respect your home and belongings. The only sign that Animalia Pet Care has been in your home is a happy pet when you return.

My name is Patti Kubala. Pet sitting is my full-time job. So when your pet is in my care, I have the flexibility to meet your pet’s needs in an emergency.I consider your pet to be “my pet” until you return home. I treat your special family member just as I treat my own—with respect and love.  

My pets have always been as important to me as the people in my life. In the past when I traveled, I would worry whether
my pets were well cared for and happy. I always felt uncomfortable boarding my pets or leaving them at home
in the casual care of neighbors and friends. That is why I
started Animalia Pet Care in 1992. I knew there were
people in Austin who loved their pets as much as I loved
mine and would be interested in getting the best care possible for their four-legged family members when they
were away from home.

Before opening Animalia Pet Care in ’92, my career included health care policy development, social work and banking. I have an Undergraduate Degree in Finance and a Masters Degree in Social Work. I am a Licensed Social Worker. I have been married to a terrific man, Steve, for 28 years. We have no children. Steve and I choose to share our lives with feline companions. We have lived in Austin for 26 years. I am also an avid and experienced gardener.
